This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all payments made on or through the DIY platform, including its websites, mobile applications, ERP systems, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By making any payment on DIY, you agree to be bound by this Policy, in addition to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1 Nature of Services
DIY is a technology-enabled facilitation platform offering services including but not limited to:
🔍 School and institute discovery
📩 Student inquiries and lead generation
📢 Digital promotions and listings
💻 ERP, SaaS, and subscription-based tools
📊 Data insights, analytics, and integrations
Most services provided by DIY are digital, time-bound, on-demand, or usage-based, and therefore not refundable once activated or delivered.
2 General Refund Policy
2.1 No Automatic Refunds
⚠️ All payments made on DIY are final and non-refundable, except where expressly stated in writing by DIY.
Refunds shall not be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Non-usage of services
- Dissatisfaction with outcomes (e.g., admissions, leads, visibility)
- Incorrect information provided by users or institutions
- Delays caused by third parties or force majeure events
3 Subscription & ERP Services
- Subscription fees (monthly, quarterly, yearly) are non-refundable once activated.
- Partial usage does not entitle the user to partial or pro-rata refunds.
- Cancellation of subscription will stop future billing but will not trigger a refund for the current billing cycle.
- DIY reserves the right to modify subscription plans, pricing, or features at any time.
4 Lead Generation & Promotional Services
Payments made for leads, promotions, advertisements, or visibility packages are non-refundable.
DIY does not guarantee:
- Lead conversion
- Student enrollment
- Quality or intent of leads
Responsibility for follow-up and conversion lies solely with the institution or vendor.
5 Student / Parent Payments
Where students or parents make payments:
- DIY acts as a facilitator, not the service provider of education.
- Refunds related to admissions, fees, or institutional services must be resolved directly with the institution.
- DIY is not responsible for refund disputes between users and institutions.
6 Duplicate, Excess, or Erroneous Payments
Refunds may be considered only in cases of:

⚠️ Excess amount paid due to technical error
❌ Failed transaction where amount is debited but service not activated
- Such requests must be raised within 7 (seven) days of the transaction with valid proof.
- Approval of such refunds is solely at DIY's discretion.
7 Payment Gateway & Third-Party Failures
- Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways.
- DIY shall not be liable for gateway downtime, failures, or processing delays.
- Any gateway charges, taxes, or deductions are non-refundable.
8 Cancellation Policy
8.1 User-Initiated Cancellation
- Users may cancel subscriptions or services via their dashboard (if available).
- Cancellation prevents future charges but does not entitle the user to a refund.
8.2 DIY-Initiated Cancellation
DIY reserves the right to cancel or suspend services without refund if:
- User violates Terms & Conditions
- Fraud, abuse, or misuse is detected
- False or misleading information is provided
- Legal or regulatory action is required
9 Processing of Approved Refunds
⏱️ Approved refunds processed within 7–14 business days
💳 Refunds credited to original payment method only
🏦 DIY not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways
10 Taxes & Charges
- All applicable taxes, gateway fees, and administrative charges are non-refundable.
- Any tax invoices issued remain valid even if a refund is processed.
11 Chargebacks & Disputes
⚠️ Users are strongly discouraged from initiating chargebacks without contacting DIY.
Unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Permanent termination
- Legal recovery actions
DIY reserves the right to contest chargebacks and submit evidence to banks or authorities.
12 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- DIY's liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
- DIY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- No compensation is payable for business loss, reputation damage, or missed opportunities
13 Policy Updates
DIY reserves the right to update or modify this Policy at any time without prior notice.
The latest version shall be effective immediately upon publication on the Platform.
14 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
